20- and 21-Year-Old Suspects Arrested at Hotel Following Armed Robbery Investigation

The Police Force of Sint Maarten arrested two male suspects, ages 20 and 21, early on May 28, 2026, at a hotel near Pelican in connection with a May 19 armed robbery in Simpson Bay. Police say the victim was robbed at gunpoint and personal belongings were stolen. Officers located one wanted suspect near the hotel, then entered the room where he was staying. A second suspect tried to flee through the patio but was caught. Police found ammunition, a black handgun, and a military-style firearm. KPSM urged the public to report illegal weapons.
