Soca Rumble Returns to Carnival 2026 After Brief Hiatus

One of St. Maarten Carnival’s most beloved music events is officially back. Soca Rumble will make its return during Carnival 2026, bringing high-energy performances, powerful soca, and a strong showcase of local talent back to the stage.
The event is scheduled for April 28, 2026, at the Carnival Village, promising a night filled with groovy rhythms, power soca, and nonstop vibes that Carnival fans have long missed.
Organizers extended special thanks to Grisha Heyliger-Marten for returning the Soca Rumble brand to the people of St. Maarten, as well as to the St. Maarten Carnival Development Foundation (SCDF) and the Soca Rumble team for their commitment to reviving the event.
Soca Rumble has historically been a major platform for local artists, celebrating homegrown talent and the competitive spirit of soca music during the Carnival season. Its return adds another major highlight to the island’s 55th Carnival anniversary celebrations.
With anticipation already building, Carnival lovers can expect pure energy, strong performances, and an unforgettable night as Soca Rumble once again takes its place in the heart of St. Maarten Carnival.
