The Police Force of St. Maarten (KPSM) has officially announced the vehicle and truck inspection schedule for all road events associated with St. Maarten Carnival 2026.
According to KPSM, all inspections will take place in March, and no inspections will be conducted in April. No additional inspection dates will be added. As a result, all troupes, bands, DJs, and corporate sponsors participating in Jump-Ups, parades, and J’ouvert must ensure their vehicles are inspected on one of the scheduled dates.
Inspection Dates
- First inspection: March 7, 2026
- Second inspection: March 14, 2026
- Third and final inspection: March 28, 2026
All inspections will be conducted on the open property across from Blue Point Pondfill, between 12:00 PM and 5:00 PM on each listed date.
KPSM emphasized that no extensions will be granted, and vehicles that are not inspected within the specified dates and times will not be permitted to participate in any Carnival road events. Participants are urged to prepare in advance to avoid disqualification or delays.
The Police Force thanked all stakeholders for their cooperation as preparations continue for a safe and successful Carnival 2026.
