Two new casinos possible, Minister says casinos not paying ToT should be revisited

The St. Maarten Government is considering the potential introduction of one or two new casinos into the market. Concurrently, Minister of Finance Marinka Gumbs stated that the existing exemption of casinos from Turnover Tax (ToT) should be re-evaluated. This exemption is currently enshrined in St. Maarten's turnover tax ordinance.
