Báez & Bervoets Receive Presidents Award at St. Martin Book Fair 2026

Antonio Carmona Báez and Tadzio Bervoets received the Presidents Award on June 6, 2026, at the 23rd St. Martin Book Fair. The award presentation served as the final highlight of the two-day literary festival, held at the University of St. Martin (USM) campus in Sint Martin. Antonio Carmona Báez, president of USM, was present to accept his award. Tadzio Bervoets, who had conducted an environmental workshop, was unable to attend due to a family commitment. The Presidents Award recognizes individuals and institutions for work that demonstrates excellence and combines literary, cultural, and liberation components in service of progress for their people or nation and for humanity.
