Biodiversity Mangrove Nursery inaugurated in Orient Bay Mon

On Monday, June 29, a new Biodiversity Mangrove Nursery and its accompanying landscaping were inaugurated during a ceremony in Orient Bay. The facility is located on Rue de la Baie Orientale, opposite the Salines d’Orient pond. The establishment of a mangrove nursery supports biodiversity conservation by cultivating and protecting mangrove ecosystems, which are vital for coastal health. The site has also been equipped with wooden walkways, designed to allow visitors to stroll around and observe the rehabilitated area. This initiative marks a tangible effort toward environmental preservation in the region.
