The Ministry of Finance in Sint Maarten has submitted the Draft Budget 2026 to Parliament for consideration, aiming to strengthen fiscal discipline and improve public financial management. The proposed budget projects total revenues of Cg. 647.1 million and operating expenditures of Cg. 635.9 million. It allocates Cg. 164.6 million for capital investments, focusing on infrastructure and public services to advance national development. The budget further projects Cg. 5.28 million in loans to third parties and authorizes the Minister of Finance to enter into loan agreements for capital investments totaling up to Cg. 42.11 million.
