Five students from the University of St. Martin's (USM) Caribbean Foundation Year (CFY) program achieved a 100% pass rate on the Dutch State Examination (Staatsexamen) at the B2 level. This accomplishment involved all five students in the cohort successfully passing the exam. Notably, most of these students entered the CFY program with A1 Dutch language proficiency and progressed to B2 certification within approximately ten months. The results are presented as an indicator of the CFY program's effectiveness in strengthening academic skills and preparing students for higher education, demonstrating rapid language proficiency development among participants.
