Court imposes six-year sentence for supermarket robberies, enforces earlier two-year term

The Court of First Instance sentenced D.F.H. to six years' imprisonment for a series of supermarket robberies committed between October 2025 and March 2026. The court found D.F.H. responsible for six robberies targeting Chinese-owned supermarkets, two of which were targeted twice. On Thursday, July 2, 2026, the Court also ordered the enforcement of a previously suspended two-year prison sentence from December 2024, resulting in a total imprisonment term of eight years. D.F.H. was acquitted of unlawful weapons possession, as the object used during the robberies was determined to be a power drill that resembled a firearm.
