Cps Encourages Men to Prioritize Preventive Health. Good health begins with prevention

The Collective Prevention Service (CPS), a department within Sint Maarten's Ministry of Public Health, is encouraging men across the island to prioritize their health. During Men's Health Month, observed annually in June, the CPS advocates for men to utilize preventive healthcare services and undergo regular medical check-ups. This initiative aims to raise awareness about preventable health conditions affecting men and boys and to promote healthy lifestyle choices. The CPS highlights that routine screenings can facilitate the early detection of serious conditions such as high blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease, certain cancers, and kidney disease, when treatment is generally more effective.
