Cultuurfonds Caribisch Gebied strengthens cultural partnerships across the Sss Islands

The Cultuurfonds Caribisch Gebied (CCG) recently concluded a working visit to Saba, St. Eustatius, and Sint Maarten, aiming to strengthen relationships with cultural stakeholders and explore new investment opportunities. The CCG team engaged with artists, cultural organizations, and community leaders through various sessions and consultations across the three islands. Discussions on Saba and St. Eustatius focused on heritage preservation, cultural education, and youth engagement. On Sint Maarten, the CCG introduced the Fonds op Naam (FoN) concept to the business community and presented the 2026 CCG Culture Prize to EPIC (Environmental Protection in Sint Maarten). This initiative seeks to bolster cultural development and partnerships within the SSS Islands.
