Dutch Caribbean translators attend Literary Translation Days in Antwerp

The Literary Translation Days, an annual event for literary translators, were held in Antwerp, Belgium, on June 26 and 27. Organized by the Dutch Foundation for Literature and Literature Vlaanderen, this marked the first time the event, traditionally hosted in the Netherlands, took place in Antwerp at the University of Leuven’s Opera Campus. Dutch Caribbean translators Loekie Morales and June Leonora attended, receiving professional development grants from the Foundation. The two-day program offered literary translators opportunities to learn about new developments, exchange knowledge, and network with peers. This edition's theme was "The Translator’s Voice," featuring a varied program of lectures and workshops.
