Gumbs: Teacher career path, remuneration and foreign teacher rules under review

Minister of Education Melissa Gumbs announced to Parliament that the Ministry is undertaking reforms to enhance teacher development and career advancement opportunities. The initiatives also aim to address long-standing questions regarding teacher remuneration. Furthermore, the Ministry will clarify the rules applicable to foreign teachers employed in public education.
