Hillside Christian Schools becomes First School to Adopt Local Book in Support of Curriculum

Hillside Christian Schools is the first on St. Maarten to adopt the local book "Steve Takes a Stand" for its curriculum. Authored by Ralph Cantave, it follows a 1960s St. Maarten boy navigating bullying and learning from local heroes. This initiative fosters literacy, local identity, and teaches students about confidence, character, and courage.
