Ieta Announces Relocation of Transport and Taxi Dispatching Offices and Temporary Service Adjustments

The Inspectorate of Economic and Transport Affairs (IETA) announced the relocation of its Transport Section and Taxi Dispatching & School Bus Inspection Section in Philipsburg, Sint Maarten. Effective June 29, 2026, these offices moved from their former location across from Fair Way Supermarket to the Telem Building on Pond Island, behind the Government Administration Building. This move is intended to improve operational efficiency and enhance service delivery to the public. During the transition, the public may experience temporary delays in processing services such as Driving Examinations, Confirmation Letters, Substitute Vehicle Letters, and general inquiries.
