Ieta Announces Relocation of Transport and Taxi Dispatching Offices and Temporary Service Adjustments

The Inspectorate of Economic and Transport Affairs (IETA) announced the relocation of its Transport Section and the Taxi Dispatching & School Bus Inspection Section offices, effective June 29, 2026. The offices have moved from their previous location to the Telem Building on Pond Island, Philipsburg, Sint Maarten, situated behind the Government Administration Building. This relocation is intended to improve IETA's operational efficiency and enhance service delivery to the public. During the transition, the public may experience temporary delays in services including driving examinations, confirmation letters, substitute vehicle letters, and general information inquiries. To ensure continuity of service, IETA advises the public to utilize alternative contact methods.
