Ipko discusses central theme “Cooperation”

The Interparliamentary Kingdom Consultation (IPKO) met in The Netherlands on Saturday, June 6, 2026, dedicating a full day to the central theme, "Cooperation within the IPKO and in the Kingdom." This focus followed a proposal by Sint Maarten MP Sarah A. Wescot-Williams, allowing for extensive and in-depth discussions. The day's agenda began with a panel discussion on the theme, featuring Mr. Paul Comenencia, Mrs. Maria van der Sluijs-Plantz, Mr. Bote ter Steege, and Mr. Roban van Herk, moderated by Prof. Wouter Veenendaal, covering areas such as governance, justice, and energy transition. Subsequently, delegates were divided into groups to discuss their positive and negative experiences regarding Kingdom cooperation.
