Kpsm investigates afternoon armed robbery at Supermarket

The Police Force of Sint Maarten (KPSM) is investigating an armed robbery that occurred at a supermarket in the Dutch Quarter area on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, around 4:00 pm. Preliminary findings indicate two male suspects, both armed with handguns, entered the store and demanded cash from the cashier. After taking an undisclosed sum of money, the suspects fled the scene on a scooter in the direction of French Quarter. KPSM has stated the investigation is ongoing and is appealing to the public for information from anyone who was in the area or possesses details relevant to the incident.
