Minister of Justice Nathalie Tackling met on Friday, May 22, with Chico Negron, Consul General of the U.S. Mission to the Dutch Caribbean and the U.S. Consulate General in Curaçao. The courtesy meeting focused on continued cooperation between Sint Maarten and the United States in justice and law enforcement. Negron praised the Sint Maarten Police Force and the Public Prosecutor’s Office for their consistent collaboration with U.S. agencies. Both sides discussed ways to further strengthen ties. The meeting was described as constructive and positive, with the U.S. Consulate recognizing recent developments in Sint Maarten.
