Parliament invites the public to submit nominations for the Annual President of Parliament Award 2026

The Parliament of Sint Maarten has announced the opening of public nominations for the Annual President of Parliament Award, with submissions accepted until August 17, 2026. This initiative aims to recognize and honor young people from Sint Maarten who have made significant positive contributions to the community and country. The award acknowledges exceptional achievement, leadership, innovation, or service across various fields, including education, entrepreneurship, arts, sports, and volunteerism. Eligibility criteria stipulate that candidates must either hold Dutch nationality or have legally resided in Sint Maarten for ten or more consecutive years.
