Parliament invites the public to submit nominations for the Annual President of Parliament Award 2026

The Parliament of Sint Maarten has opened nominations for the Annual President of Parliament Award, inviting the public to submit candidates for the 2026 recognition. This award aims to honor young persons in Sint Maarten, aged 15 to 24, who have made significant positive contributions to the community and country through academic, voluntary, or sporting achievements. Eligibility criteria include Dutch nationality or at least 10 consecutive years of legal residency in Sint Maarten. Nominations, which can be submitted via an online form, will close on August 17, 2026. The initiative seeks to acknowledge youth who have positively impacted local development.
