Heyliger-Marten: New multi-year partnership with Carnival to strengthen Scdf operations

Minister Grisha Heyliger-Marten announced a new multi-year partnership between the government and the St. Maarten Carnival Development Foundation (SCDF). This agreement aims to move away from annual renegotiations, providing stability and strengthening Carnival operations. The partnership will also safeguard Carnival's cultural identity while bolstering its role as a vital tourism product for St. Maarten.
