Peggy-Ann Richardson: Consumer Protection Association is not anti-Gebe, Peaceful protest March set for June 15

Peggy-Ann Richardson recently announced the official incorporation of the Association for Consumer Protection St. Maarten (ACP SXM) on May 29, 2026, in Great Bay. Richardson clarified that ACP SXM is not an anti-NV GEBE group, but a legally established consumer protection organization. Its mandate is to protect residents from unfair treatment by major service providers and institutions. Additionally, a peaceful protest march, related to consumer concerns, has been scheduled for June 15. The association aims to advocate for fair practices and consumer rights within the region.
