Police Force of Sint Maarten Conducts Vehicle and Documentation Controls on A.J.C. Brouwers Road

The Police Force of Sint Maarten (KPSM) conducted a traffic control on the A.J.C. Brouwers Road over the weekend of June 20, 2026. This operation was initiated in response to a recent increase in serious scooter and vehicle accidents, as well as firearm-related incidents across the island. During the control, 26 vehicles and 2 scooters/motorcycles were stopped and inspected for documentation and technical compliance, leading to the issuance of 3 fines for observed infractions. The KPSM announced these actions are part of an ongoing effort to improve road safety and reduce crime, with further preventative searches and vehicle controls planned for the coming days and weeks.
