Port St. Maarten Celebrates Successful Completion of Simpson Bay Causeway Bridge Lighting Upgrade

Port St. Maarten has announced the successful completion of the Simpson Bay Causeway Bridge Lighting Upgrade Project. This infrastructure initiative in St. Maarten aimed to modernize and enhance the bridge's functionality, reliability, and visual appeal. The project involved a complete overhaul of the lighting system, upgrades to the electrical and control infrastructure, installation of newly fabricated side panels, and repairs to key bridge components. Advanced programmable LED technology, totaling over 1,350 meters of linear lighting, was deployed throughout the structure. These upgrades are intended to improve the performance and aesthetic of the bridge, which serves as a notable gateway.
