Sipps takes students on cultural heritage exploration of slavery sites

The St. Maarten Institute for Public Policy Studies (SIPPS) has launched a new education project. This initiative aims to increase public knowledge and awareness of St. Maarten’s colonial slavery past. A key component involves taking secondary school students on field trips to historical enslavement sites across the island.
