Preparations are underway for the 23rd St. Martin Book Fair, themed “Soualiga Flambo,” with a focus on celebrating local authors. The festival opens June 5, 2026, at Heritage House in Colombier and continues June 6 at the University of St. Martin in Great Bay, featuring a book launch, recitals, and the Presidents Award ceremony. Founder Shujah Reiph recalled that the first fair in 2003 featured only three St. Martin authors, while organizers now identify at least 40. The event is organized by Conscious Lyrics Foundation with several local partners.
