The Sint Maarten South Omega Leo Club expressed condolences to families who have lost loved ones in motorcycle and scooter accidents, especially following a recent fatal accident in Baie Nettle. The youth organization urged all motorists to drive more carefully, particularly near schools and around motorcycles and scooters. It called on drivers to slow down, follow speed limits, avoid phone use, give riders enough space, and stay alert. Young riders were also encouraged to wear helmets, avoid reckless riding, and obey traffic laws. The club emphasized that road safety is everyone’s responsibility: “Drive Safe. Arrive Alive.”
