St. Maarten Students Highlight Local Heritage at 7th World Cultural Heritage Youth Symposium in Greece

St. Maarten Academy students proudly represented the island at the 7th World Cultural Heritage Youth Symposium in Greece from April 22-26, 2026. The delegation presented on the Great Salt Pond, highlighting its cultural and historical significance under the symposium's "Unknown Heritage" theme. Their presentation, which included a musical performance, emphasized the local value of sites not officially recognized as UNESCO World Heritage.
