Suspect in Ryan Gumbs fatal crash released, sent to immigration, will still face prosecution

The incident, which occurred on AJC Brouwer Road on June 11, 2026, resulted in the death of Ryan Gumbs. The individual was transferred to the Immigration and Border Protection Service following release. Authorities stated that despite the change in custodial status and transfer to immigration, the suspect will still face prosecution in connection with the fatal crash.
