SXM Doet 2026 Concludes with Tremendous Success. 1,300+ Volunteers & 83 Projects

SXM DOET 2026, the 12th annual volunteer weekend, took place across Sint Maarten on May 15 and 16, 2026. Under the theme "From Jump Up to Step Up," the event mobilized over 1,300 volunteers who participated in 83 community projects. These initiatives were organized by local foundations, schools, and non-profit organizations. The program aimed to foster community engagement and encourage contributions towards the betterment of Sint Maarten. Of the total projects, 32 were executed on Friday, and 51 took place on Saturday. This marked the twelfth consecutive year the island-wide volunteer initiative has been held.
