Transition to Caribbean guilder successfully completed. NAf now only exchangeable at Cbcs

The Centrale Bank van Curaçao en Sint Maarten (CBCS) reports a successful completion of the Caribbean guilder transition one year after its introduction. From April 1, 2026, the old Netherlands Antillean guilder (NAf) will only be exchangeable at the CBCS, no longer at commercial banks. This exchange at the CBCS is valid until March 31, 2055, with 77% of NAf already converted.
