Tropical Mischief Continues to Be a Possibility During the First Couple of Weeks of June

Crown Weather forecasts a possibility of tropical development in the northwestern Caribbean, eastern Gulf, and southwestern North Atlantic during the first couple of weeks of June. Despite this, the Atlantic Basin is currently quiet with no expected development for at least the next ten days. A trough near the Bahamas is producing showers, but environmental conditions are unfavorable for its organization into a tropical system.
