Usm Announces Leadership Transition as of July 1. Three-Member Interim Management Team Appointed

The University of St. Martin (USM) announced a leadership transition, with Dr. G.A. Carmona Báez concluding his tenure as President effective July 1, 2026. The USM Foundation Board of Directors has appointed a three-member Interim Management Team, effective immediately, to ensure continuity and effective governance. This team comprises Mr. Robert Judd, Mr. Jan van Beek, and Mrs. Juliana Shipley-Hodge, who will oversee the university's daily operations. The Board reassured all stakeholders that USM remains fully operational, committed to academic excellence, and that all programs and services will continue without interruption while arrangements for the institution's next phase are finalized.
