Usm Conducts Caribbean Foundation Year Assessment on Saba, St. Eustatius, and St. Maarten

The University of St. Martin (USM) recently completed a qualitative assessment of its Caribbean Foundation Year (CFY) Program, engaging students and stakeholders from St. Maarten, Saba, and St. Eustatius. Led by USM Marketing Consultant Shobhan Giterson, the evaluation included interviews and discussions with current and former CFY students, program coordinators, and community representatives. The assessment aimed to gather feedback on the program's initial year of implementation, reflecting USM's dedication to student success and program enhancement. The CFY program, designed to offer an accessible pathway into higher education, helps students develop essential academic, personal, and professional skills required for success at the tertiary level.
