Van der Sluijs-Plantz at Ipko: Reform cooperation shows results, but progress remains vulnerable

Maria van der Sluijs-Plantz, Chairwoman of the Evaluation Committee for the Mutual Arrangement for Cooperation on Reforms, stated on Saturday at IPKO that reform cooperation between the Netherlands, Aruba, Curaçao, and St. Maarten has generated concrete results. She cautioned, however, that the progress achieved remains vulnerable. Van der Sluijs-Plantz attributed this vulnerability to the significant dependency of reforms on factors such as capacity, continuity, political commitment, public support, and administrative direction. Her announcement highlights both the positive outcomes of the joint efforts and the ongoing critical challenges to their sustained success and stability.
