This announcement followed public statements by Member of Parliament Francisco Lacroes regarding whistleblower protections and safeguards for public officials. Consequently, Prime Minister Mercelina requested a factual review from the Ministry of VSA to determine if any formal complaints or concerns had been submitted through administrative channels. The Ministry of VSA subsequently reported it is unaware of any formal reports, complaints, or official notifications submitted through its administrative channels regarding such concerns.
