'We are headed to court', Acp-SXM preparing legal action against Gebe

The Association for Consumer Protection St Maarten (ACP-SXM) announced Friday its intent to pursue legal action against the utility company NV GEBE. ACP-SXM President Peggy-Ann Richardson stated that the consumer advocacy group and its legal counsel are actively preparing the complex case. The organization is encouraging consumers to come forward with complaints to strengthen their legal challenge. As part of this effort, ACP-SXM will host a public intake session on July 18 at the Rupert I. Maynard Youth Community Center, where residents can formally file their grievances. This move signals a significant step by the consumer group in addressing concerns related to the utility provider.
