Wib Marks World Environment Day by Empowering the Next Generation

The Windward Islands Bank (WIB) launched its "Keep it Clean, Keep it Green" educational initiative in St. Maarten, coinciding with World Environment Day. The program aims to foster environmental responsibility among young residents by partnering with 17 public and private primary schools across the island. As part of this effort, WIB is distributing reusable car litter bags to students in Groups 3, 4, and 5, typically aged six to eight. These branded bags serve as a practical reminder for small, consistent actions to protect St. Maarten, with the intention that children will extend the message to their households. The initiative highlights WIB's ongoing commitment to community engagement and environmental awareness.
