'Babysitter' convicted to 50-months in prison child abuse case

A family friend acting as a babysitter in Sint Maarten has been sentenced to 50 months in prison for serious child abuse against an eight-year-old girl. The Court of First Instance found the suspect guilty of acts constituting sexual penetration.
