Youth Dialogues Initiative

On Friday, June 5, the Department of Youth in St. Maarten conducted a training session for representatives of several local youth-serving organizations. The session, facilitated by youth development consultant Ms. Dwynette Eversley, aimed to equip youth leaders with skills and tools for facilitating meaningful youth dialogues. Participants received guidance on engaging young people in structured discussions and creative activities. This "Youth Dialogues Initiative" seeks to gather the perspectives, experiences, opinions, and ideas of St. Maarten's young people. Youth aged 4 to 12 from various organizations will participate in these interactive dialogues, guided by their respective leaders, between June and September 2026.
