The Police Force of St. Maarten (KPSM) is reminding all road users that traffic controls will begin in the near future to verify road tax payments and vehicle documentation.
Drivers are urged to ensure their road tax is paid and valid, and that all required documents—including a valid driver’s license, insurance, and inspection—are in order. KPSM cautioned that motorists found non-compliant may face fines or vehicle towing, in accordance with the law.
The police encourage all drivers to prepare ahead of time, remain compliant, and drive responsibly to avoid unnecessary inconvenience and help improve overall road safety.
